THE ASK:
For Oak Truss Group, it’s more than a name. Formally known as Cyber Defense Labs, the company had grown in a way that the name no longer accurately represented their growing offerings. Expanding beyond cyber defence (and no longer wanting to be confused with a Commercial Drivers License a.k.a. “CDL”) meant Altura needed to start from the ground up - with a strategic Brand Foundation to understand their positioning and offerings, naming, and a rebrand resulting in a fresh website.

THE ALTURA VALUE: Be a flexible partner every step of the way
Naming is not always easy, and with strict trademark guidelines, and a desire for a totally unique but not nonsensical name, this one was tricky. We relied on the company’s core values - Partnership, Expertise and Trust - and built on that. Oak (one of the strongest trees) Truss (the piece of the bridge responsible for stability and connecting) Group was born. From there, we pulled the brand through logo exploration and web design and development, with a keen eye toward those core values.

THE RESULT:
A cohesive and professional brand that matched the company’s values and ethos was born.
